Vittoria Assembri
— Live performance
Saturday, 4 Oct. 7 PM / Cinema Studio rooftop

Vittoria Assembri is an Italian experimental artist who turns listening into an act of resistance. Through practices of deep listening and site-specific field recordings, she rewrites an affective and political landscape of the city, tracing urban dynamics, socio-cultural processes, and public spaces.
Moving between sound art, radio art, and public architecture, her research takes shape in performances and installations presented across Europe, Asia, and Latin America – from ACAC – Aomori Contemporary Art Center (Japan), Villa Medici (Italy) and IRCAM (France), to C-LAB (Taiwan), JNB Festival (Indonesia) and cheLA – Experimental Center of Latino America (Argentina).
She also curates two radio programs dedicated to listening as a transformative experience: Walk so silently that the bottoms of your feet become ears on Fango Radio (IT) and Wunderscorpion on Station Station Radio (FR).
