Fixlent is quite possibly the first augmented-reality installation that uses no augmented-reality technology. It can only be seen through a mobile device, yet requires no dedicated app or extra effort. It also offers maximum variety: no two visitors will take exactly the same photograph. Its coloured lines recall something; that association is part of the reason for its title. It also promises endless entertainment from a hole in a wall.

Sillyconductor is one of the pseudonyms of Cătălin Matei, a Romanian sound artist based in Bucharest. His main interests have long been classical music and its relationship with chance and mathematics, exploring where technology, classical music and humour meet. In recent years he has composed for theatre, developed recording techniques for Transylvanian church organs through MetaOrganum, and continued to create interactive installations and sound workshops for children under the name Sgomot.
