'Plastic wrapped Landscapes' :: live audio-video
triPhaze presents a live audio / video program, who deals
with the topic of nature vs. urbanity/city
and their surrounding sounds. He is looking with a subjective
view on our current society.
triPhaze (Marek Brandt) worked in the tradition of musican
like Fennesz, Pure, Carsten Nicolai or
Keith Fullteron Whitman. This programm called plastic wrapped
landscapes and consisting
compositions of emotional minimal sounds, using processed
fieldrecordings of urban citys,
architecture and machines etc. all mixed together with very
deep soundscapes and abstract sounds -
based on granular synthesis and sine waves, using a digital
analog Synth and various fx gear and
Laptop. Visually supported by an Movie who was produced out
of photography, videofootage and
graphic elements as part of the temporary tactic subject who
fit perfectly into the working strategy
with the combination in sound and video....

triPhaze - he is the founder of privatelektro in the year 2000, together with C. Wruck. triPhaze is musician
and artist.
He is working at the context of digital music, media-art,
networking and video. At his live-performances he uses fieldrecordings,
samples and digital analog synths and laptop. A very important
aspect of his performances are the visual contents, with live
- generated flash-animations, videos, analog and digital pictures.
The live performance are more ambient-like, cluttered sounds
with the use of hypnotic noise loops, white
noise and sub-bass. As tool triPhaze uses also Granular Synthese
and distant drums and creates most of the time a very emotional
atmosphere and take the audience on a trip through time and
unsual sounds -
like a movie your head - His Videos and Installations are
international screened, at such places like: Gallery of Contemporary
Art, Leipzig, Nextwave Festival 2004, Australia, Saidye Bronfman
Centre of the Arts, Montreal, Canada, The Arches, Glasgow,
