aesthetics of body movements through photographic technology.
The image constantly slides off, skips between the moments,
leaves only fragments of physical gestures.

Now that fear dominates our current perception of public space,
it constantly creates new narrative structures, re-shaping
the true
image, blending in-between the things we’ve seen and
our ideas of what we’ve seen.

The video is part of the “Medienrolle” DVD at
Bauhaus-University, Weimar 2007 and the Filmfest 2007 in Dresden,
Germany.

Peter Prautzsch, born in 1980, lives, works and performs as
graphic designer and media-artist in Berlin Germany. He studied
Mediaarts & Design at Bauhaus-University Weimar, Germany,
focusing on Transmission Arts and Sound art. He has graduated
in 2007 in co-operation with Faculty of Electroacoustic Composition
at Franz Liszt School of Music, Weimar. He works include sculpture,
media-installations, videoworks, installations and soundart.
He’s been involved with various international art-institutions
and networks. Peter Prautzsch curates the Creative Commons
Netproject Frozen Elephants and releases his audio works with
Palacmusic among other labels and netprojects. He runs the
media agency Le Nouveau Bureau working with various international
artists, labels and media-companies.
