Moon’s Journey, 1:00 (loop), 2007
The perception of the known, surrounding universe has its
own rules. We live with these rules to orientate ourselves
in the world around. But what happens if we just simulate
another kind of perception? In this video I tried to think
again the rules of moving by totally reversing the order of
layers of an ordinary surrounding landscape. This effects
an unusual experience and it seems like our role in moving
could be exchangeable with the landscape around us. In such
a case we find ourselves in the viewpoint of the Moon which
in the ordinary way of perception is standing in one point
relative to the traveller.
