MARY MAGSAMEN & STEPHAN HILLERBRAND [USA]
Coffee & Milk, 01'40", 2005
“Coffee & Milk” is an experimental video that explores communication and sexuality through the metaphor of everyday items, coffee and milk. The pseudo-scientific images provide the viewer with a window to see a personal and intimate moment frozen in time that eventually leads back to larger universal questions of communication.

My Paper Got Soul, 00'33", 2006 (to play video click on image)
My paper got Soul - Two ways of imminent cellulose mutation
Over hundreds of years, the paper was the most important interhuman communication medium. These days cellulose based communication is pushed back by .pdf .doc, mail sms among others.
Our aim was to show how the rejected medium strikes back by developing subuniverses within each cellulose fiber.

VALÉRIE ROUGE[FR]
Untitled, 01'40", 2006
This video speaks about the relation of confrontation between people.
I decided to materialize this relation with two people dancing face to face, instinctively without prepared choreography, like a tribal species of dance.
In this dance, the borders between the two bodies evolve unceasingly and each dancer spaces is continuously invaded by the other.
There are this fusion and at the same time these limits that each one can meet in its relations with the others. |

SITO SCHWARZENBERGER [AT]
Just wait, 01'35", 2006
Just wait please don't take haste – refers to the paradox situation of life.
We want to go ahead, but save the good times forever. Also relating to fugacity. Time is sectioned, but in a very technocratic way. Why does it go further? Why do things end? Why can people never be satisfied?
Please take time for this kiss.

This video work is built on the deconstruction of habitual perception through the offset of sound and image. The basis of this work is the documentation of an actual natural phenomenon, the thunder.
Manipulating the usual workings of this natural phenomenon brings into being the denial of regular and irregular models. [...]
